Hi, Daniel Cope here, your tour host. I always get different questions from my friends, family or guests when I travel. So, this is a segment of blogs of quick FAQs that I get.
The question I got the other day is, “What is the first thing I do when I get a hotel room?”
As soon as I get in, I put my luggage down in the room either on the luggage rack or on the floor usually try to keep it off the bed. Because who knows whatever germs I’ve gotten on the plane or traveling around getting to the hotel.
First thing I always do when entering a hotel room is turn on the TV! I always like to have some noise going on in the room and don’t like it to be completely silent so TV on right away. I usually turn it to a sports channel to get the noise in the room as I settle into the new place. Secondly, I’ll make sure the air conditioning or heat is on to my comfort but the hotel is usually pretty good at that so something I don’t have to worry about as much.
