🌎 Venice Plans to Start Weeding Out Cheap Tourists with 1 Day Fees

Venice, Italy is trying to control number of guests who just go into the city for one day visits. They are hoping that this will free up some space and make it easier for guests who visit for days at a time. This fee will not apply to you if you visit with us on our unique group tours.

🌎 A summer of flight disruptions is expected in the U.S. and Europe

Flight disruptions have been a hot topic lately in travel news due to airlines not being able to ramp back up wo pre-pandemic levels of flying yet. They have many reasons with personnel needs and air traffic to get back to normal. We have seen much higher airline fares this summer but lets hope those start coming down soon.

As staffing issues continue for British Airways, they will be cutting flights down by 13% this summer. This will mean less seats which in turn might drive up pricing as well.

Time to go back to one of my favorite places in the Caribbean, Grand Cayman! You no longer have to complete a covid test before flying into and arriving into Cayman Islands. It’s great to see more and more islands allowing much easier traveling for vaccinated guests.

US Government was allowing expired passports during Covid-19 to travel back into the country but now they are advising they will no longer allow this starting now. You must now renew your passport and as in the past, best to do it before it expires in 6 months.
